New York City Restaurant Openings

Gramercy: Westchester County restaurant Purdy’s Farmer & the Fish opened a Manhattan outpost yesterday. Dubbed Gramercy Farmer & the Fish, the restaurant is overseen in part by chef and co-owner Michael Kaphan. Like Kaphan’s other projects, Gramercy Farmer & the Fish is offering a slew of raw bar options, plus dinner options like squid, steamed mussels, and brandade. The 150-seat exposed-brick space is lined with black and white photographs of family fishing trips. There are plenty of Edison bulbs, too. Status: Certified Open; 245 Park Avenue South, 646-998-5991
